I had an indian bridal skirt that didn't fit, so i experimented and made it into a garment that would suit our climate. Poly-cotton undertrousers with the delightfully decorated skirt panels over the top.
Elastic and draw-ribbon waist 'cause its lazy and comfortable.
The skirt comes to just under the knees, with the pants just below that when you're wearing it...
